The 6th Annual Collingwood Fours Hockey Tournament was recently played to support the Rotary Club of South Georgian Bay. We are excited to announce that the tournament was a huge success! We would like to congratulate everyone who participated, competed, and skated aware with hardware.
This year’s tournament was the biggest one yet: over 150 players on 20 teams competed. A variation of hockey specifically designed for hockey, Hockey Fours has fewer players on the ice and shortens game times. A fast-paced, quick-strike game, this version of hockey makes it more fun for players to play and spectators to watch.
Collingwood Today published a great article about the tournament, going into further detail about some of the individual games. You can read it here and start getting ready for next year’s tournament!
